Project description
The customer was interested in a new DWH that will gather data about the physical persons who were the clients of the bank. The steadily growing bank needed a scalable solution that could integrate data from different sources and have a data model that could be easily modified. We designed the architecture, developed the data model, and embedded the ETL process in all the layers of the warehouse. The system was designed in a manner allowing to easily add new data sources to simplify the further development of the DWH.
the outcome
The bank was able to gather all the physical-persons-related data in one warehouse and perform an analysis of the clients’ behavior. It significantly raised the quality of the used analytics and, consequently, the efficiency of marketing campaigns. Based on the findings of the DWH-performed analytics, the bank made use of tailored offers for existing and new clients to raise the clients’ base and satisfaction with services.
